“ I've had the opportunity to enjoy cigars at dozens of cigar lounges all over the country. The Tinder Box Cigar Lounge in Rapid City, South Dakota is one of the best shops I've ever encountered. They have a good selection of cigars. They have a full bar. They even have the ability to serve you a small selection of hot & tasty finger-foods from a short menu. The lounge is beautifully decorated, in addition to several big screen TV's and a large selection of seating choices, and even room choices. Each room is wonderfully decorated with lots of comfortable chairs and couches. This lounge definitely has its own unique sense of style and class. I also love that they've prioritized keeping the atmosphere as smoke-free as possible, with a strong investment in efficient and quiet air recirculation and scrubber systems. Well done! ”
“ Really cool scene, especially on Friday nights. Good live music. Smoked a Monte Cristo and took home a Julius Caesar, not much of a big cigar smoker but I can put one down on a special occasion and this spot seems to be the right place for those special occasions would recommend. Their selection is diverse and the Cigars are kept in well condition. Right outside you have the Art Alley which is a nice place to observe once you want to get up and take a breather. Drink selection is good. ”
“ What a wonderful place! My partner wanted to come here for his 21st birthday while we were spending time in surrounding areas. Laura made the best drink while we were there. Her manhattan and her old fashioned are to die for! The owner chris is a sweet heart and showed my partner around the cigars and gave him a tour because the bartender was busy and we had never been there before. Very interactive with his customers. They have beautiful seating and the decor is very unique. The musicians ended up not getting to play however they did sing happy birthday to my partner and it was a great way to end the night. They have music every Saturday from 8-10, definitely check it out. Also this seems like the kind of place where you can either dress up or dress down and everyone is friendly either way. We dressed up, it was awesome to get some cool pictures with the vintage decor. Thanks for having us! ”

Good selection of cigars - Great atmosphere Great lounge & a doggie walking around the greeting customer’s. I have been coming to Spearfish - Rapid City for 20 years and just found The Tinder Box. If you live here or your passing through it’s a must stop. I don’t have a wife but if you do let here walk around town and shop. Get a smoke with a water - pop - beer - wine or coffee. Not sure if I happier that I found the place or pissed at myself that it took so long. I can’t rate the food because I only had a cigar Easy street parking and again this is a must stop - Hidden Gem - Great Cigar Lounge ”
